chocolate sour cream cake

I made this today, reminds me of cafe choc cake
2 cups of sugar….blimey.250ml Water
2 cups Flour, sifted
2 cups Caster Sugar
2 Eggs
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
3 Tblsps Cocoa
3/4 cup Sour Cream
80g Butter, room temperature
1/2 tsp salt
Preheat oven to 160C.
Grease and line a 20 cm cake tin
Place all ingredients in electric mixer and combine on slow speed for 2 minutes
Scrape down sides of bowl and mix at full speed for further 2 minutes
Pour mixture into tin
Bake 50-60 minutes or until skewer comes out clean

For the icing I mix 1/3c sieved cocoa and 1 c sieved icing sugar, mix with hot water until it is the right consistency
